Rev. Tonja M. Gerardy
Rev. Tonja M. Gerardy began as Transitional Minister at North Christian Church in July of 2016.
Tonja grew up in Kansas and Colorado, but after receiving her BA in Religious Studies from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, returned to her native Indiana to acquire a Masters of Divinity degree from Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis.
Tonja has served churches in Franklin, Indianapolis, and Carmel, as well as held positions on the regional and general levels of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Tonja has also served as manager of various health food stores in Indianapolis and Greenwood.
Tonja is married to Tamara Jeffers, and together they are parents to Max (the cat), Mister and Paco (the dogs), and foster parents to Coconut (yet another dog). Tonja and Tamara are active in animal rescue, enjoy camping and travel, and, if they had their way, would live year-round in Cinderella’s Castle at Walt Disney World.
Kim Wadholm joined the North Christian Church team in April 2018.
Kim is originally from the southeastern Wisconsin area but relocated to Columbus from North Dakota in the fall of 2017. While out west, she earned her bachelor's degree in Biblical and General Studies from Trinity Bible College and Graduate School in Ellendale, ND as well as gained an array of professional and customer service skills.
Kim can usually be found cooking up a new recipe in the kitchen, working in the garden, or laughing with her spouse, Alfie. The two enjoy traveling, playing board or card games with friends, and catching a show (live theater, comedic or musical performances, or the latest Marvel movie) whenever they can.
