All Saints Day and Pitch-in Meal
All Saints day is celebrated on the first Sunday of November. The observance of All Saints Day dates from the fifth century celebrating the communion of saints across not only space but also time. During worship, members of North Christian Church who have died since All Saints Sunday, 2010 were named and remembered with opportunity given to name others held dear by church members. The bell was tolled once for each saint named. We thank God for allowing them to touch our lives and for the ways they continued to shape our Christian witness.
