"Life can get busy!"—We've heard it a million times and yet we know just how true it can be. That's why we take the time every month to sit down, "break bread", and talk with one another at a Disciples Women Ministries-sponsored meal. This month, we will have a pitch-in; so, bring a dish to share after service this Sunday. Rev. Tonja will also check-in with the congregation about important events and happenings at NCC and our community!
All Faiths and Spiritualities are invited to a Spring Labyrinth Walk in the Lower Level of North Christian Church, any time between 9:30 and 11:30am on Saturday, March 23!
Labyrinths are being used today as a non-denominational, cross-cultural tool of celebration and well-being and a way to find balance in our lives. It's an opportunity for anyone to REMEMBER one's blessings, RELEASE distractions, to RECEIVE guidance and new insight, and RESOLVE to take something positive back into the world. Come and be nourished!
Gather this Wednesday, March 6 at 7:00 pm, as we share together in worship with our ecumenical friends, mark the beginning of the Lenten season, receive the ashes that remind us of our origination and our destination, and enter into quiet reflection and renewal of our personal spiritual journeys with our friends from First Presbyterian Church Columbus Indiana.
Rev. Dr. Felipe Martinez will be our preacher for the evening. A joint choir will sing, and we will receive – as one community – communion and ashes.
