An Open and Affirming Congregation of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)
Luke 10 Adaptive Challenge: Go forth to cultivate community from our doorstep to the ends of the earth. North Christian Church to Host Ecumenical Event On Sunday, November 12, at 4:00pm, North CC will host the Ordination and Installation of the new pastor at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Columbus, Nic Cable. Nic’s mother-in-law is a former member of North’s staff: Amy Bertschausen! We have long had a collaborative relationship with UUCCI – even sharing our sanctuary with their congregation when their new building was under construction. Along with First Presbyterian Church, our three churches lead the city of Columbus in speaking out on social justice issues, LGBTQ inclusion, and human rights. And speaking of First Presbyterian…their congregation will cater the reception in North’s Auditorium and Lounge! Other denominations will be represented in the service, with a clergy processional and laying on of hands. This will truly be an ecumenical/interfaith event. Please mark your calendar now and plan to attend! Along Tipton LaneDid you know? The worship service is recorded each and every Sunday! If you would like to hear a service you missed or would like to deliver it to one of our shut-ins or would like to share it with a friend…please request a copy from Michelle in the office at office@northchristianchurch.com. SAVE THE DATE! Transgender Day of Remembrance Service November 4th at First Presbyterian Church at 7:00 pm
